Hayden’s Dad Is Going To The Pokey!
According to the Associated Press, Hayden Panettiere’s father, Alan Panettiere, is being charged with misdemeanor battery for an incident in which he allegedly hit his wife. The “Heroes” star’s father faces up to a year in a Los Angeles County jail if convicted. He was arrested on August 11 on suspicion of striking his wife, Lesley.
At the time, a sheriff’s spokesman said Panettiere was accused of hitting his wife three times with an open hand. The 49-year-old was later released on $50,000 bail after the arrest. His arraignment will be held in October at a Beverly Hills courthouse. Jail records did not indicate an attorney for Panettiere.
